Match the Hatch With Your Car?

Matching the hatch (I.e. Choosing flies based on what insect life is hatching/available at your fishing spot) is standard practice, but have you ever considered using your car to help in the process? Came across an article recently that suggests an easy way to see what insects are around is to check your car’s headlights, windshield and grill to see what bugs you’ve collected. Who knows, this might also be a defense for speeding:”Honestly officer, I wanted to make sure I was going fast enough for the bugs to stick to my windshield.”
