Fly Tying Challenge

By Tedy Gordon, SFBCA member

Can you invent your own fly?  Are you up to the challenge.  It is really not that difficult.  The question is would any fly catch fish?  I have created a caddisfly based on the adult ones I have seen and on some of the many version there are out there…  My caddisfly is very simple to tie -it had to be, as I am still in the very early stages of my fly-tying experience-.
Is anybody up to the challenge:

Here, take a look:  size 16 standard dry fly hook, chenille, dry fly hackle, peacock herl, duck feather for the wing and black Uni thread 6/0
